Are you interested in learning to code, but don’t quite know where or how to start? Join us for Start From Scratch where you’ll learn the basic building blocks of coding; variable, loops, functions, and conditions, all while building the simple and popular video game, Pong. Using Scratch, the block-based programming language developed by MIT, you’ll learn how to code in a fun and interactive way.
Important things to know for this workshop:
You don’t need any prior experience with coding
You will have to bring your own laptop, tablet, or phone
There’s a $10 deposit (per person) to reserve your seat. Your $10 will be returned to you upon your completion of the workshop
This workshop is for adults (age 18 and above), but your children are welcome to join you
